The Virginia Grassroots Voting Coalition is a community-led initiative dedicated to empowering voters from underrepresented, marginalized, and working-class communities across the Commonwealth.
We believe voting is a powerful tool for change — and that when we vote together, we shape a future that reflects our values, our needs, and our vision for justice. Our short term goal is to register and rally 1,000 new voters within our local area!
Born in Norfolk, VA, the Virginia Grassroots Voting Coalition was created to address one critical issue: low voter turnout in our communities.
We are organizing at the street level — block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood — to ensure every eligible voter has the support they need to register, get informed, and cast their ballot.
We’re not affiliated with any political party — we’re aligned with the people, especially those who are too often ignored during election season.
